Made of polyester, women of the Muthalath (triangle) area call their thobe “Al-Shog” which means ‘the opening’, referring to the wide-open V-shaped chest panel which is embroidered using colored wool threads. The rest of the chest panel is also embroidered with the same threads in geometric and floral patterns.
The thobe includes an under shirt that is embroidered on the chest area inspired by Tulkarem thobe, in addition to wide pants “sherwal”.
The belt is made of striped cashmere fabric
The shawl is off-white adorned with a piece of cashmere fabric
