Made of off-white polyester, the stitching on this thobe is done using multiple types of stitches including “Al-Manajel” stitch which is used to connect different parts of the thobe together, in addition to a stitch called “Al-Hashi”, as well as the cross stitch using bold and bright colored threads including yellow, orange and green.
The embroidery on this thobe covers a wide area of the open Jalaya which can be closed using buttons or metal hooks. The outfit includes pants that are worn underneath Al-Jalaya with embroidery at the lower end so it can be visible from underneath the thobe.
The belt is embroidered using Al-Manajel stitch adding more character and beauty to the outfit. The patterns on the belt are the same as the ones on the Jalaya
The Shawl is off-white adorned with a piece of fabric embroidered in the same patterns as the outfit
