Made of white polyester, this thobe is wide and loose and has long wide sleeves called “Radan” that are tied from it ends behind the back.
The embroidery on the chest panel occupies a small area and comes in the shape of a square missing one angle and a V shaped arch, in addition to some birds and floral patterns on the lower angle and both ends of the arch. The upper end of the chest panel is also embroidered, while the opening is adorned with small patterns.
A kaftan (cape) is worn above the thobe and is either plain velvet or coloured, depending on the age and social status of the woman. The thobe also includes loose pants worn underneath.
The belt is called “Trabulsi” and is specific to this thobe. It is wide and made of colorful silk fabric including red, green, white and black.
The shawl is off-white adorned with a green handkerchief that is embroidered in yellow
